Directions to CMC Meeting Place
Westgate Shopping Center
Important: Our meeting place at Westgate has changed - we now park at the very north east corner of the lot past Earth Fare. Here is a map:
I-240 exit 3B. Green is from the west. Red is from the east.

From West of Asheville:
Take I-40 east to exit 46B - I-240 East;
Take exit 3B - Westgate - Resort Drive
Stay in the right lane - see the Westgate sign again
Go about 0.2 mi, bearing right at the 3rd Westgate sign,
Go to the intersection where there aren't enough signs and go straight bearing left down the hill, under the overpass, then turning left into the Westgate parking lot.,
Turn left again and go to the very North end of the lot beyond Earth Fare.
We will be in the last row of parking places.
From East Asheville:
Take I-40 West to exit 53B - I-240 West,
Take I-240 West to exit 3B
As you cross the bridge over the river there will be a Westgate Resort Dr. sign,
Slow down and turn right into the Westgate parking lot,
Find your way around the construction and go straight to the very North end of the lot beyond Earth Fare.
We will be in the last row of parking places.
From the North:
Take I-26 East (actually going south) to I-240 West in Asheville,
It's a right turning ramp (it's still I-26 at that point),
As you cross the bridge over the river there will be a Westgate Resort Dr. sign,
Slow down and turn right into the Westgate parking lot,
Find your way around the construction and go straight to the very North end of the lot beyond Earth Fare.
We will be in the last row of parking places.
From the South:
Take I-26 West (actually going north) to exit 31B - I-240 East,
Take exit 3B - Westgate - Resort Drive
Stay in the right lane - see the Westgate sign again
Go about 0.2 mi, bearing right at the 3rd Westgate sign,
Go to the intersection where there aren't enough signs and go straight bearing left down the hill, under the overpass, then turning left into the Westgate parking lot.,
Turn left again and go to the very North end of the lot beyond Earth Fare.
We will be in the last row of parking places.
There should be hikers standing around waiting and chatting.
