Trail Description: From Hickory Nut Gap, hike over Ferguson Peak, then down to Strawberry Gap. Take orange blaze trail, go through gate and through undulating, open meadows to road; right on road to gap, then turn left through gate and follow road to lunch spot on summit of Bearwallow Mtn. Extraordinary views at various points along the route.
