Driving Directions: I-26 W ; turn right onto NC 197; right at Barnardsville and follow road (turn left at fork) until it turns into FS 74, and follow FS 74 4.4 miles to trailhead.
Notes: Walker Falls is another .3 miles down the road from the trailhead. Perkins can be a bit steep and rocky in places.
